About Project

In this Glacier Study, I painted an image of sublime and hinge it on discomfort and terror displayed by red geometric shapes. These red shapes remove areas of a landscape, and in its place, seduces dystopia. To push these bodies together suggests a struggle between industrial success and organic failure.

Awards & Recognition

In June 2016, I had a solo exhibit, “This is Ice” showcasing this work in the Craft Studio of Memorial Hall at the University of Missouri.
